Dancing with the Stars

Scyther has made three appearances: in season 2, 5 and 15. Scyther's best DWTS result was week 3 in season 15, where they were sent off from the show due to being in the bottom three with Ecuador and Paraguay/Honduras. Two weeks later, Scyther appeared at the 2012 Gold Coast 600 where Scyther, Honduras and Paraguay were the ones to pass.

Ben and Toad's Contest

Scyther was named to the mostly Pokemon squad from Honduras for the 2016 IndyCar season.

The Scyther first came to Ben and Toad's Contest in the sixth season. Scyther came on the show at the 2015 MAVTV 500, on the 136th lap for the Turkey national team during this first caution flag for the Germany national team exiting a turn and causing them to finish last; lap 136 is known as one of the "not very effective BATC laps". Along with water typed Feebas, they are the first two Pokemon to come on the show after the first caution flag. Scyther, along with Feebas, are confirmed for the 2015 IndyCar Series season for the last races from Milwaukee to Sonoma.

Along with Feebas, Scyther is one of the only two Pokemon that liked Will Power's crash on lap 131 of 250 at the 2015 ABC Supply Wisconsin 250. Scyther also liked the not very effective Germany crash on Lap 166 at the 2015 Pocono 500. Scyther will be playing for a Pokemon-marred Honduras for the 2016 season; and driving for Helio Castroneves for the second time in Scyther's history.

Mike Gould Classic record

Scyther failed to qualify for the 2014 and 2015 editions due to choosing to race at St. Petersburg. Additionally, at the 2016 Roar Before the Rolex 24, Scyther decided not to participate at the 2016 event due to it clashing with Pocono's IndyCar race and the 2016 Olympic closing ceremony.
