DWTS winner, sitcom actor

Alfonso Ribeiro (born September 21, 1971) is an American actor. He is known for winning Dancing with the Stars on it's nineteenth season.

Alfonso Ribeiro was announced as one of the celebrities that competed on Dancing with the Stars. His professional partner was announced to be Witney Carson. He won the competition, despite suffering an injury weeks prior to the final that would have seen him withdraw from the competition. Ribeiro was the first male contestant to win DWTS since NFL player Donald Driver won season fourteen.

Ribeiro was announced as one of the Ben and Toad's Contest celebrities for season six thanks to Dancing with the Stars season 19's contestant announcement. He was one of the favourites to win; voted by the BATC Community.

In the last eight at Sonoma Raceway, he was upset 6-2 in the quarterfinals by Australian underdog and defending IndyCar champion Will Power. After the loss, Ribeiro is classified from fifth through eighth.
